We have owned this bike for 7000km and 3 months to tour South East Asia on it.
It’s a bike that is also sold as the Jialing Coco Cross 125x, Monarch Axis 125 and under a few other names.
This is my Brutally Honest, deep-dive review of the bike.
In this video we will touch on:
- A brief history on Aveta
- Its design
- Reliability
- Maintenance
- Flaws
- Suitability for short riders
- What it’s like to own
- All of its flaws. How to solve the Death Wobble we encountered on our bike
- What it’s like for: commuting, touring, twisties (canyon carving) and dirt
- Its suitability for Adventure around South East Asia
That’ll also cover all the mods I’ve done to turn the into an overlander including:
Luggage racks, phone mount, spot lights.
Superb website you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics talked about
here? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feedback from other knowledgeable people that share the same
interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Thank you!
Thanks for the response.
The best resource I found has been the Aveta Ranger Max group on Facebook. There are 16k members who should be able to help with questions.
