We have owned this bike for 7000km and 3 months to tour South East Asia on it.
It’s a bike that is also sold as the Jialing Coco Cross 125x, Monarch Axis 125 and under a few other names.

This is my Brutally Honest, deep-dive review of the bike.
In this video we will touch on:

  • A brief history on Aveta
  • Its design
  • Reliability
  • Maintenance
  • Flaws
  • Suitability for short riders
  • What it’s like to own
  • All of its flaws. How to solve the Death Wobble we encountered on our bike
  • What it’s like for: commuting, touring, twisties (canyon carving) and dirt
  • Its suitability for Adventure around South East Asia

That’ll also cover all the mods I’ve done to turn the into an overlander including:
Luggage racks, phone mount, spot lights.

  1. Superb website you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics talked about
here? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feedback from other knowledgeable people that share the same
interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
    Thank you!

    1. Thanks for the response.
The best resource I found has been the Aveta Ranger Max group on Facebook. There are 16k members who should be able to help with questions.
